Recovery Care have pleasure in announcing the launch of a brand new Supported Living service in the Vale of Glamorgan.
The new service is a large detached property situated in the West End of Barry, minutes walk from Romilly Park, the Knapp and Barry island.
Set in its own private grounds the new addition to the organisation’s suite of homes will offer a specialist service for those people requiring support with daily living.
In addition to far reaching views to Barry island and beyond the property offers residents, spacious ensuite rooms with small kitchenettes, two communal lounges and a modern shared kitchen. Each individual room will feature assistive technology designed to help clients to further develop their independence.
In addition to the spacious and comfortable interiors there will be a therapeutic garden, designed to help residents relax and encourage them to develop their gardening skills. Plans are also in place to create a separate arts and craft room.
Staff will be trained in supporting people with diagnosis’ to include; Learning disabilities, Demand avoidance , personality disorder, acquired brain injury and Korsakoff syndrome.

Recovery Care is a specialist care agency providing high quality care to clients from Cardiff, Barry, Rhondda Cynon Taff and Merthyr Tydfil. This new service will bring the number of people the company supports to 64.
